AFC Bournemouth v Arsenal - Sunday 1.30 pm

Was looking forward to the second half having got back in to it which was fully deserved. Not quite the crisp stuff I had hoped for .
It looked as though we switched to a back three second half , Fraser looked a little more shackled.
All in all not a bad performance but another 5-10% on the level and I think we could have taken all three!

Pity Lerma scored that ‘cracking’ goal in his own net. It gave Arsenal a bit of a lift in a first half. The game was a game of two halves again, very similar to the Man U game.

What a brilliant move for our equaliser, Fraser to Wilson on to Brooks who laid the ball off nicely for King to score, just before half-time.

Thought this would be a good psychological advantage for our side coming out for the second half.

Unfortunately it was Arsenal who seem to come out the stronger and as the Man U game they dominated most of the play in the second half.

They gained the lead and that was how the game ended.

But we had our chances in a late flurry and Lerma hit the post.

It was a good game to watch, thought the referee was poor.

Listening to the link man for Solent on the way back from the game, think he normally does the Saints commentaries.

He thought our team are better than all the teams below us in this league, including Everton who are in 6th spot.

Sun is the opposite direction, always over the main stand pointing at the East Stand which is why we get quite a few sun flares in the Camera in winter games with the low sun.
I was making a hit at the Sky commentators blaming things on the 'sun in his eyes' every time the lino (other side) put his flag up!
