The wee turd.

Nice scenery from the M74 when we drove up to my mates place in Linlithgow on Bank Holiday.

Love the scenery - but if anyone hasn't done it before, Edinburgh in August is a must when the Fringe is on. Do avoid Saturdays if you don't like it too busy though!
Went to Aboyne for a couple of weeks some years ago. Visited family on Humberside on way up and drove through the Keilder Forest. Hope to go to Aboyne again next year. Absolutely beautiful and only a couple of hours darkness in June. Free coarse fishing and Ospreys on the doorstep!

Shame he was played at RB

as he was picked to play RWB, though he has been most effective for AFCB this season playing on the left.

These days, I live 5 miles outside of Linlithgow! Easy to spot my boy and I... we're the ones in our Cherries shirts!

Best move I ever made. Great scenery and general banter... even got through the WC unscathed.

Nice one - my 8 yr old had his away shirt on a couple of days! My mate lives right on the canal near the station, so had a cracking Sunday run from the Falkirk wheel along the canal to his place. Took the kid to the junior parkrun at Helix Pk near the Falkirk ground before then too.

Nice part of the world..

spent a very pleasant few days here at achmelvich beach youth hostel.... the beaches really are stunning, and best of all...... not many people

Of all the places in the whole world I ever went to ( just about everywhere)'Scotland comes in at No 1! In Scotland ..a spade is a spade..they either like you or they don't... but you will be told! A good time is never far away. Just don't boast about England and you will have a great time. 95% of the people are friendly and hospitable!

Agreed Bill, been living in Renfrew (2 miles from Paisley) for 12 ish years now and its great, people are great, whisky is great, scenery is awesome....Football not so much... Actually out of interest, there are about 20ish exiled Cherries up here.......look out for the flag at Burnley

Bad news comes in threes

Howe is the new Villa manager
Ake sold to Man Utd for £6m
Fraser out for the season

How will we cope?

I was led to believe that Ryan has been offered a new contract by the club a few week ago. Seemingly this contract has still not been signed. Admittedly, these things do take time, but I am concerned that he may be stalling to see what happens in the January transfer window. I hope that this is just my imagination running wild.

That's funny, I never had you down as somebody with imagination.
:throw:

Why in the name of all that is Steven Foley would he want away at a knock down price right now?

Any club that buys in January is usually panic buying to either cover for injuries or help stave off relegation.

I'd be more worried come June.

Contract until summer 2020 at the moment I think so next summer he'd still be at optimum sale value.

However, I suspect he'll sign a new deal. So much is going right for him here at the moment but I still don't see any of the big six coming in for him so his best bet is to engineer the best deal possible at AFCB.

These things often take time and maybe even longer this time since his role not just in the team but in the PL as a whole has changed significantly this last 12 months. He's now recognised as a genuine regular threat to all teams and he'll want a contract that reflects that.

He'll want to be among the top earners at the club and, if I'm honest, I'd say he deserves to be. Whether he gets it or not is another matter.

Depending on how negotiations go, expect him to sign at some point in the next six weeks.
