Liverpool v AFC Bournemouth

Because people always need somebody to blame for the shocking situation of a mid table side getting comfortably beaten by a side full of international class players challenging for their domestic league title.

This will be their 11th win, plus they have drawn twice and scored 35 goals, conceded 7 in 13 games at Anfield.

We set up for damage limitation but didn't really succeed in limiting the damage. Unfortunately without Brooks and Wilson we are really short of creativity in our side. Both our centre backs were pretty poor, and I thought Fraser and Smith were poorer than usual. Tough day, but no surprises.

Decent enough performance with the personnel we had available ! Compare to the 2-0 at Cardiff if you’re in denial. Liverpool would have had a much tougher time against a full strength AFCB. They were lucky to meet us now in my opinion. These are not the games which will define our season. When we get Callum and Brooks back and play the teams around us, that will be the time to moan when we lose. Again, a decent effort against a pretty much full strength title contender away. Boruc very proactive and deserving of his place. If Bego really did throw a strop, he can do one. Artur has seized his opportunity and I’m starting to feel some man-love for him !
