Leicester City v AFC Bournemouth

From Leicester Mercury.

Eddie Howe

“We weren’t ourselves today, a little bit leggy and that showed in the result.

“They played very well today, but we have to look at ourselves. We’ve fallen short of what we expected. Some players looked tired and we’re very disappointed with ourselves.

“(Wilson’s chance) was a big moment in the game, we recovered well from their goal, if we could have got the boost of a goal then it could have changed the mood. The second half was frustrating as it was tough to build anything.”

I wonder if Jason forgot to turn off the wifi in the hotel last night?

dear Edward
I work 5 days a week
If I want to feel a bit leggy I do not leave it to the day of the presentation
If you think it’s acceptable to perform like that I don’t
We spent a lot travelling to sh::try Leicester
You lot go to Dubai for f all and decide to chill on your return
Take a reality check , you represent a lot of people so at least show it

Midfield - Eddie’s blind spot now a glaring deficiency. Even with L Cook fit we need a forceful midfielder who’ll show leadership. With Hudds down, for heaven’s sake get Pritchard. He may not be ideal but he’s a class above the current selection.

It’s infuriating! So much talent upfront and midfield like a sponge.

Here is a mini- theory...a one off. I expect to be given an Honorary Village Idiot Doctorate!
Ok ..we know that footballers can be fickle and react to media stuff, rubbish in the Sun etc.
They read that the Great God of Tactics Brendan Rodgers has ' Rejuvenated' Leicester in a short but ruthless 'new broom sweeps clean' entrance, helped along by Eddie praising up his buddybobs!
So this ...subconsciously or consciously, it matters not, feeds into their fragile Psyche and once on the pitch up there, they go all of a Quiver!
"Oohh what are they going to do to us....ooooerr Matron! Will they crucify us like Celtic v Kirk O' the Hills Thistle?....I dont actually think i'm far off the mark!

Pritchard has not shone in a dreadful Huddersfield team. We need someone but I don't think he is the answer

MOTD........yes Ndidi, a Gray day... the Cherries walk into yet another effing Ghoulex...this time the 61st birfday of their late Chairman...Christ how do we pick em?
Leicester playing our old incisive triangle speedy, passing game...hellfire!

Lucky deflection goal by Morgan though and a great save from Callums shot early on!
Pah! But Eddie took the blame.. rightly this time I think!
Relegation form ..as seen by Keown....who added ..Eddie needs to sort it out before August.....ooh eck...Crisis......nah!
We need to sort it now though really, unless we want to be butchered at St Marys!
or have a Sh#tter at Brighton.....thats the main incentive from my view, to avoid those outcomes! Top ten is more or less gone now!

Now the dust has settled on the game, I’ve got to say that @lcfc was easily my favourite away media experience of the @premierleague. Every member of staff I encountered, without exception, incredibly friendly, helpful, polite. Facilities absolutely brilliant too. #afcb #lcfc

The only thing worth shopping for in Huddersfield is a few pints in the rat and ratchet or the Grove Tavern....................:):guiness:

Mooy would be an excellent addition. What’s odd is that Eddie’s gone on and on with Gosling and Surman when it’s blindingly obvious they’re not able to do the job. Is it loyalty or does he have a master plan than relies on these two? I can’t see it.
