Non - Brexit

When we look at our age old and seemingly rigid constitution, its easy to be comfortable in thinking that with all the lawyers and legislation holding it up...that nothing dodgy would ever occur. But that is purely subjective and not quite how things are...sadly! Bercow and co are testament to the fact that nothing has changed since Henry the Eighth fudged it big!
We slightly fictionalise things like the Sicilian, Calabrian and Chicago Mafias but some of our own skullduggery will rival them... ok , maybe not the killing....Yet![/
I believe we are only one of five countries in the world without a written constitution.

If we drop out with no deal I can see the Lib Dems losing their remaining seats. Their voting could have got some votes through yesterday. It won't be forgotten.

It's depressing that no party seems able to compromise for the benefit of the nation rather than concentrate on narrow party political interests. How else is this thing going to progress unless people are willing to move from their position?

The Lib Dems are the only party willing to revoke Brexit. They have my vote.

Is brexit likely to override all other issues when you next vote at a general election? Would you vote labour otherwise?

Genuine question with no agenda.

In my case I'm pretty appalled by Corbyn's handling of brexit but it doesn't really make my top five issues (despite how much I bang on about it on here) so I'll probably still vote labour.

I’d be a man of little principle. I’d vote Lib Dem to stop Brexit, then be a complete Quisling and go back to voting Labour.

Many many months ago, I said on the RIFT (Remain in France Together) forum, that in times of emergency, a Government of national unity is required. Hopefully with the latest statement, Corbyn will be more helpful and forthcoming....But I doubt it.

Corbyn has offered nothing so far. The whole things a farce

Crikey, another extension, more indicative votes for next week, perhaps another go at May's deal as well.

It's like one of those Star Trek episodes where they get stuck in an infinite time looping deep space anomaly. Except the Captain and crew are too sh*te to figure their way out.

Great that she's offered to sit down with Corbyn to try and work something out.

At least two years later than it should have happened and well into sqeauky bum Brexit Fergie time but you never know, maybe they can salvage something.
