Non - Brexit

To be fair, most Brexit party voters would probably be the ones pushing themselves to the front of the line without any sense of shame.

You can't see it but you are part of the problem. Bridges need to be built here and compromises need to be made. You are half the reason we are where we are - same as the belligerents on the other side.

My missus has been receiving separate Cancer treatments for two periods, and two types of it, for initially 7, and latterly 3 years since 07....so far successful and almost entirely clear now...she is Right Wing Tory and believes that had it been mainly during Labours reign she would be dead...thats her take...I Dont share her view....but it just shows how we all formulate opposing opinions based on different criteria.
She thinks if we Remain, the countries fortunes will dip...and under a Labour regime, any future treatment would be jeopardised....her reasoning is complicated and based on things she has been told by various NHS employees, including a Surgeon at Plymouth Hospital , who you would expect Not to discuss such things with patients..mmm! ..not good, but not entirely surprising with the pressure they endure. It directly clashes with other opinions within the NHS..My opinion cuts no ice with her and is entirely divorced from political parties.
A lot depends on what you read and who you listen to.
I cant see Brexit , In or Out , making much difference to the substance of either my opinions or hers, or those in the NHS...The Distribution of Wealth will stay roughly the same... and always a struggle for the Public Sector.
For once.. a serious post from me.

I think I might be more inclined to trust the distribution of wealth with Corbyn rather than Johnson.

The wilful division of society is down to the idiot that called the referendum in the first place.

Not the guy that signed us up to it without a referendum in the first place?

52% of people voted out as it is - add on the people that aren't keen on it, can just about live with it, but wouldn't vote into it if we weren't already in it (people like me) then it's really not a very popular thing is it? You may be happy for our politicians to sign us up to things with no mandate but I think that's pretty dangerous. Lo and behold - it is.

I hope Druss and fantasist stanthevan will be on here apologizing for trying to spread fear when these medicine and food shortages don’t appear post Brexit ...you know remainers ...own it !

Wallmth, even ignoring the report created by the no deal brexit government and then not released because they didn't want to save the public.

They are laughing at people like you Wallmth.

You’re happy for a politician to call a silly referendum to protect his own position.

The referendum has been inevitable since 1992. They left it as long as they could, until we were integrated enough that the people would back it. They didn't. You never know we might have backed it if they'd have run it in 92. They didn't.

Are you happy for governments to fundamentally change our Constitution and sovereign without a popular mandate? Opens the door to all sorts that.

“Save the public “ again hope you’ll be around to apologize when it doesn’t materialize ..mind you in true Druss style if your local Co Op doesn’t have tomatoes for a couple of days you’ll be claiming your friends and family are dying of starvation .

On the point of one man to blame for the referendum taking place.

A referendum was put into the Conservatives manifesto. So everyone that voted conservatives voted for the referendum to be held.

Just like in the next election everyone voting for Labour will be voting for a referendum. (Assuming they don’t change their minds again.)

MPs voted by 544 to 53 in favour of the bill to hold the referendum. 544 to 53!
Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said a "generation" had been denied a say on the UK's place in Europe, and the public must now have the "final say".

MPs voted by 498 to 114 in favour of invoking A50 and starting the countdown clock for passing a deal.
The Commons voted against an SNP amendment aimed at scuppering the bill.

So overwhelming numbers of Parliament were happy to start this process. David Cameron was not a dictator acting alone. Even the Liberal bloody Democrats were aware of a potential EU referendum as far back as the coalition days - and they ok'd it.
And ever since it's been that Parliament who've refused to bring the process to any sort of conclusion, refusing all options put to them, besides extensions.

Yes wallmth, thats what the "best case" predictions are in the report, no tomatoes for a couple of days.

Your deliberate ignorance so you dont have to face the reality of your position is somewhat disgusting to be honest.
