Was talking to a Palace mate recently, and he told me that none of the Palace fans he knows want Fraser there. They all think he'd be a negative influence in the squad, and it would only be a matter of time before he started grumbling about wanting to be at a bigger club. Saints acquaintance of mine insists that they will move for King. They want someone else to play alongside Ings and cover for when he might be missing from injury and play alongside Evans. Mind you he's not exactly Shane Longs greatest fan. Add to that, King loves living down here.

Unlikely I’d say but at the same time those wages would maybe have been reduced by 50% on relegation. So maybe after all the financial gamble will have paid off. Very sad ending for everyone. Nobody won that one.
