Not necessarily there would have been a reduction in his wages if we got relegated and like Wilson, King, Ake he wouldn’t want to play in The Championship so would have left anyway. Don’t get me wrong I’m not his biggest fan and he’s completely screwed us over but he’s still got premier league football even if he is earning less

If we offered him £55k 2 years go, that's over £2m he's missed out on because he thought he'd get £100k and a fat signing on bonus somewhere.
 
We were given to understand he had a club lined up. And yet, so far - nothing other than a vague link to Palace for a fraction of his asking wage.

Perhaps he isn't as in demand as his agent made out...
 
I would have been prepared to live and let live on Fraser, I dont forget his part in our successes for four years. BUT on his reluctance to play the remaining nine games of the season, which was his choice but I believe morally wrong, I cannot believe that didn’t cost us the one point which could/would have made all the difference. And for that he deserves all that’s coming to him in karma and all the money he won’t get.

Thats exactly how I feel.
The little **************** let down his team "mates", his manager, his club, us fans and himself. He won't be getting any polite applause from me if he plays down here again, something a bit more robust I think.

He’s screwed himself over too, whichever way you look at it. He could have signed a new deal 2 years ago on at least 2x his salary, banked an extra couple of million quid, then put as much effort into this season as he did the previous and still got a move to a top 6 club.
If he was worried about AFCB not accepting an offer and demanding over the odds in terms of a transfer fee then he could have inserted a release clause. We’d have agreed as it at least meant we got something for him. Equally his wages for the last 2 years would be double, he wouldn’t have burnt any bridges and his character wouldn’t be questioned by would be suiters.

He’s had a complete shocker, and now he’s going to end up being paid less than we had offered him for a club that will be in the bottom half of the league.

IF we had got relegated with him playing! I would also think he would get a pay deduction if relegated with Palace which may happen!
