Best performance of the season, ok probably against the weakest team, but pressing etc.
Actually thought mepham was pretty good. Only negative was front 2 bit ineffective
 
We are pressing as a team and looking to play on the front foot. Central midfielders are encouraged to get in the box and look a goal threat. We are playing some lovely football. We just did this with virtually all of our creative players unavailable. This is certainly not the Bournemouth of last season.
 
Liking two centre defenders overlapping, higher press up the pitch, more bodies in midfield and taking long range shots.

JT proving to be a breath of fresh air after the relegation misery. Guess a few of you are really annoyed by that!!

Think there is more to come too. We need to keep attacking after taking the lead and we did that after half time when we went up a couple of gears.
 
Best performance of the season. Hghlights were the high press which was excellent and the defence. Rico was excellent again with less attacking. Two cracking goals and Lerma is a cut above this level. Negatives the front two and lack of width at times.

Nice to see us top of a table as that was never going to happen in the old league! Coventry seem far worse than the worse teams last time we were in this league??
 
Very good all round display. Some great interceptions by Lewis Cook. Rico looks a happy player now.
My only criticism would be that our finishing wasn't clinical enough, if it had been it could have been 6 or 7.
 
Imperious.Truly dominant display. Looks like those seasons in the PL did achieve what I first hoped for, when I doubted we'd survive a season, which was the making of a great Championship side to provide the grounding for the club to truly shift any remaining tinpot, imposter syndrome thoughts and build from there. Brilliant!

Did this referee not look at our championship statistics and not realise that AFCB should be awarded at least one penalty.Come on refs ,can't you keep up with the rhetoric about how AFCB is viewed by other teams fans.

As an aside just seen match statistics and we were twice that they were,(although those that went many moon ago Exeter know that counts for naught
