I don't think Neil's overreacting. Recently some posts on here have been really personal and not just against Neil. Banter is one thing but bullying is another. Definition of bullying= Singling people out and saying or doing things to belittle them.

Disagreement's good. Bullying is shite.

Give over. I've never insulted the guy yet he's seen fit to label me with all sorts simply for having the temerity to disagree with him on the odd occasion. Water off a ducks back.

This isn't a popularity contest.

I agree. Seems there is a pack of wolves that jump on every post Neil makes to turn it from debate in to argument. Actually makes the threads a difficult read.

We all know that Neil (like me and like many others) didn't think JT was the right choice but we are all desperate to be proved wrong and so far, so good. We also know that Neil believes this squad should be getting automatic promotion. Some seem to think that makes him disloyal or wants AFCB to fail. Why the ^&% would someone spend hours a week on a forum of a club they didn't want to do well. Loyalty doesn't mean blindly agreeing with everything the club does.

Have to say I'd have done the same if Neil. It became boring a few weeks ago. Same with the attacks on his match reports last year when he had the audacity to point out glaring problems.

We are doing amazingly considering the players we have lost.

Let's go through them again
Ramsdale
Ake
Wilson
Fraser
Francis
Surman
B Smith
Ibe
Could lose King as well.

We could only name 6 subs tonight, the only thing that worries me is squad depth.

on paper you are right but how many of that list contributed much last season vs past efforts? Only Rambo and Ake are a big loss.

My disgust at some of those players that have cost the club and max many millions will never subside.

Not sure B Smith or Ibe count as a loss but fair point.

The defence has impressively handled the loss of Ake and Rambo so far. I think Danjuma and/or Stan are an upgrade on last year's Fraser. Yet to be seen how much of a loss Wilson and King will be, positive signs from SaS so far though.

Clearly some must have overstepped the mark, to cause Neil to react like this. There has continually been "banter" between Neil and posters such as SDD. I've taken it to be just that, and felt certain that if the 2 of them met for a pint, they'd get on like a house on fire. But if anything has become more personal, abusive or bullying from other posters then it's wrong - intended or otherwise. Neil, I hope if you're reading this that you'll have 2nd thoughts and return to the forum. You have a great contribution to make, especially with your match reports. Even if some of us disagree with some of your other views, they are valid, and I've always enjoyed reading the discussions that arise from them.

think it's a but more subtle than personal abuse. It's constant labelling of Neil as wanting AFCB to fail or revelling in our defeats and therefore not letting him make any other points without jumping on him like a pack of wolves and calling out his "agenda". It all feels a bit weird and obsessive.

Squad depth is a massive issue. 18 games in November and December.
I’ve just had look after the international break . Saturday and midweek games all the way up the next international break and then again after leading up Christmas .

this league is about consistency and a good squad is needed .

Pulis: F√cking good player...f√cking good manager.....if players don't listen to what they are told...I.e. how to tackle etc...then a manager of that calibre is wasted. That's what happened when he was at DC.

Interesting....cant remember, but who got sold in that era?

If anyone's had their team sold from under them JT could wear that crown in recent years, but I think he knew that when he put pen to paper.

my memorys not the best.... but ekoku. parkinson?

I must admit the continuing 'disagreements', 'arguments' or 'banter' call them what you will were getting tedious.
Yes this is a discussion forum and we all have different opinions. I think yes Neil's views were that we probably should go straight back up, so we should but it's not as easy as that though is it?
I think we all have the clubs best interests at heart but get frustrated when things don't work out and perhaps then take out our vitriol on people who point out those failings.
Perhaps we need to step back a little on all sides and refrain from making those wind up comments.

Shows the difference in our squad to others... can you imagine that last time we were in this division!!

wow.

lol Neil...I thought it didnt matter where a team was last year or look to the past? You really are the biggest hypocrite on here and that is a difficult feat. Congrats.
