What can he realistically achieve there aside from mid table though? I suppose it’s a comfortable job in a convenient area and on good money, but for career ambition it’s not the best you’d think. In hindsight he needed to push for a move away from us when his stock was at its highest. I fear he’s ruined his chances of a top job.

Oh you do talk bollox sometimes. Why couldn’t Palace be a potential Leicester? and BTW the lure of Celtic could be European football (as well as managing an iconic club). As for ruining his chances of a top job, he’s only 43 FFS...

I’m a bit upset that Waz hasn’t gone into full meltdown this weekend.
Last time he did a couple of weeks ago, I suggested he should wash himself down with a wet lettuce leaf.
He accused me of being a dirty old man.

Palace are a smaller club than Leicester, with a smaller supporter base and surrounded geographically by English football giants who will always have the edge over them. Not to mention the fact that they have significantly less financial backing than Leicester and a far poorer squad. But yeh, apart from that not too much going against them. As for European football, this is a few games a season and not much of a lure considering the standard of domestic competition he would have to put up with. Re the other bit, I was merely trying to point out that EHs stock is likely never to be higher after his second Prem season with us, the man could do no wrong at this point. But hey ho go ahead and follow the crowd by criticising everything that I say, if it makes you feel good.
 
Never mind Waz , they always hate the posters that call it first . Most of these happy clappers still think Ibe didn’t have enough opportunities , we were too good to go down and Rantie4 could still do a job for us .

Here we go again, more idiocy.

Population of Leicester 552,000; population of south London (excluding north Kent) 2,835,000. And not that long ago Leicester had little money until the Thai investment, so a similar situation could happen at Palace. Why, one day, we might even benefit from investment from a wealthy person...

For the record I don’t criticise everything you say, I just comment on the odd post, but I do find your constant whinging and negativity very tiresome.

I get upset when I can see the team is not performing to their potential and we’re blowing our best chance to go back up. Not about comments from the like if you. Shame on me for caring about the well being of the club

Do you not remember the pelters certain posters got for saying the likes of Rantie weren’t good enough early on , absolute vitriol ....but they were right .
Waz doesn’t think we’re doing good enough to go up , I hope he’s wrong , he probably hopes he’s wrong but it doesn’t stop you and the likes cherrybare losing your sh*t every post he make .
