Burnley v AFC Bournemouth - FA Cup 5th Round

My idiocy has already been highlighted!

Pleased with the win. Listened to the first part before I realised I was late for a virtual Zoom presentation (oops!), and came back just as the pen was awarded. Comments suggest we played well.
Ah my bad! Screw the zoom call the cherries ARE GONNA WIN THE CUP

Anyone else looked at replays of Sam's goal with that blue line showing he was behind the ball?the lino is in no way able to give an offside decision,he was at least two yards behind play, the best he could do would be a guess.

Plucky Bournemouth into the next round. The BBC will send cameras down to film a local bakery who has made a whole team of gingerbread men to represent the team. They'll interview someone who is 100 who'll talk about the great team of the 1940s. And finally someone in a Kiss Me Quick hat on the pier. The magic of the cup.

The Season Turns here.....we grab it by the goolies... players will become saints {( not the Bingo type - all the 9's 9ty 9 !)} and take us to Glory.

Very impressed with Pearson and CCV. Looked very sold playing 4231 and dangerous on the counter attack. Much better that we did not dwell on the ball at the back playing sideways and backwards.
JW must be complimented on changing our style of play. No need to rush and bring in a new manager. Let’s see how things go over the next few matches Certainly nobody on the bookies list looks outstanding.

I would like them to interview old Bill/Brian. We need more diversity on the BBC.

That's just a week with this squad.Imagine what 'MIGHT' happen if given full reign of the playing side.....or not.

And show the Ronnie Radford Hereford goal , just because they always do in the FA Cup

Bludy 'ell just watching GSS and see that Bolton are playing Morecambe, who'd've thought that a few seasons ago?

Feels good to be in the Quarter-Finals of the most famous Cup in the World lads, 3 wins away from silverware! Let's hope we get the winners of Sheff Utd v Bristol City.

The only thing I didn't agree with EH on when he selected the Cup lineups, far too many changes and you could see that with an average Burnley today.
Credit to Woodgate again for getting a tune out of the players but I did say even if we beat Birmingham and Burnley I want a new experienced manager and I stand by that.

Dyche really is a totally graceless tool:

“On Erik Pieters' selection admin error: "It was an oversight. We did notice it, Bournemouth noticed it and we managed to sort it before kick-off. Bournemouth, very gentlemanly, said they thought we had a player who was not eligible.
"You would like to think if it doesn't happen in a sporting manner there could be a story the other way but fair play to them."

firstly: “we did notice it”.
no you didn’t notice it as he was in the line up. it was pointed out to you (which we didn’t have to do) and then you fixed it. So why say you noticed it when you didn’t? That’s just lying.
Secondly: the correct sentiment is: “we ballsed that up - credit to Bournemouth for being gentlemanly and pointing out our error. Had they not done so, it’s possible we’d have forfeited the match, even if we’d won.” Why add the rubbish about “well, they were clearly under an obligation to point out the error... so let’s not overdo the thanks”.
Nob.

It's all about the wording and that was typical Dyche.
