My posts can be a bit 'speculative' much as you get in the Press.....but only to tease out any other variations and themes...some of it is ' tongue in cheek' stuff and if I appear ' nationalistic' somehow...then its because want to see young British (and Irish) players get the jobs .....I.e. Surridge and Kilkenny.
Same with managers...Just my preference..what's wrong with that ?

Wilshere didn't really get in the game on Saturday, I would rest him here and use him as an ace up the sleeve from the bench. Danjuma was anonymous, we need to find a way of getting him involved. Surridge has to start, surely?

That might look odd having Lerma right midfield, but he's done that before with success (home to Huddersfield). I'd worry that starting Brooks with Stan and Danjuma would make us a bit lightweight, against what will be a physical battle. Stanislas is poor on the right. Lerma and Stanislas will provide the full backs with more protection and help get them into the game, that's something we've struggled with all season.
Brooks like Wilshere can come on later to add the magic and go less rigid and more fluid, but we'll need to start a bit uglier I think. Get Surridge to sharpen those elbows!

far too simplistic
you need to get the ball to your main striker first which we've spectacularly been unable to do for weeks irrespective of personnel, formation, manager, coaching staff.....
[I agree, surridge should start ahead of long, btw]

Making my points or responding is not ' getting upset'..I'm sat here jovial 90% of the time...laughing at the over- sensitivity !
He actually said that Surridge won’t get picked because the tendency is to pay players who cost over inflated transfer fees. He then goes on to make the separate point that the tendency in the modern game is to look abroad for foreign imports rather than giving homegrown players opportunities. He may put it across in a pretty eccentric way but he does have a point, especially at the top level.

My wife's life was saved by a West Indian Oncology surgeon....and her sight saved by a Ghanian Eye surgeon..I am hardly going to be Racist.
Prior to that even, I had always supported immigration and movement of medical experts between countries...a necessary service...Football is not so essential is it ?

Politics seem to creep into many of the conversations that are about other things..it taints many of the responses. If they think or know you are Left or Right..its right at the forefront of their reactions whether its relevant or not...its laughable sometimes.
I haven't voted Tory or Labour for quite a few years now...probably never will again.
But I and others will still get categorised by the extremist posters as being Left or Right.
