I'll let you know if I think he was right or not to bring their player down after the game - sort of lol!

Brentford decided not to bring Danjuma down when clean through and they lost a goal but kept 11 men. Was that the right decision?

Christ. I don't think I can watch the second half. Spent the whole season feeling pretty disconnected from any football related emotion - but after that 51 minutes I'm now a quivering mess.

Still in it, but a shame Mepham couldn't control the ball better.

A good contest ruined really.

I can forgive the lack of control (just) but deliberately tripping the player was unforgiveable.

Surprised that Brentford have only managed to con one penalty. I think the ref is now scared to give anything else.

That 45 has left me exhausted, and unless I'm very much mistaken, the next 45+8 are going to be painful to watch.

We caught them cold but one stupid penalty decision has changed everything.

I just can’t see us having the discipline to see this through. For some of our players, at times their decision making is astonishing. They play the game in dangerous areas of the pitch as though it was a meaningless training session. Mepham casually jogging back toward goal with the ball. Begovic impulsively rushing out and wiping out a team mate, getting nowhere near the ball. Smith cheating an awkward cross back to the keeper... (fair enough worked that time, but really?) You need to be calm, sensible and disciplined to see out a game like this. The exact opposite of what we are.
