AFC Bournemouth v West Brom

Good point against a big ugly team. Looked a bit lightweight in areas but against one of the more physical sides. Billing took the goal really well but did tend to amble around a bit on occasions but that’s him isn’t it ? Travers made some very confident punches when under pressure. Plenty there to look forward to and plenty for Parker to ponder.

That could have been far worse. Won't be any tougher opponents than West Brom. Still some defensive frailties and a few moments where players were indecisive.

But the youngsters acquitted themselves well, there was variation in going forward and no píssing around with the ball between the back four.

Biggest positive for me was that we scored twice and created several other decent chances. O

Biggest negative is our defence giving me kitten's every time a cross or corner comes in!
The two centre halves for us battled for everything .
We also had the clearer chances

Great result with half of our team missing. Pearson, Lerma, Danjuma, Cook, Stacey and Stan probably would've all played if fit. West Brom look like a very strong championship side and will be there or thereabouts end of the season.

Fans in the stadium, 4 goals, no VAR. What's not to like!

Didn't play that well but 2-2 against one of the favourites with a host of senior players missing is nothing to grumble about.
Mainly so happy to be back in the ground tonight

Thankful for the point. There was a lot of defensive frailties out there but thankfully we won’t play a team like West Brom every week.

Felt kind of "blah" for me, but given the XI that we had available and an inexperienced bench, I suppose a point is an acceptable result.

One thing is for sure .... the future of this club is in the hands of our young players........ league 1!.....lol

Anybody being even slightly negative after that needs a reality check. We had THREE players in the eleven who did not have one single league start between them, at any level! We were playing a goal keeper who with all due respect, isn’t ready to be starting just yet. Given West Brom’s direct style and physicality, given the completely inexperienced nature of our line up, this is the toughest test that we will face all season. Not only did we hold our own but we also arguably had the better chances to win it. Anybody viewing that performance as any less than an heroic effort needs to give their head a wobble.

What does feeling Blah mean?....is that a Canadian thing?
Didn't think it was a Canadian thing. I'll use "meh" should it happen again!
