Stoke City v AFC Bournemouth

I remember Powell was the next big superstar. It’s interesting to see how difficult it is to become the next big superstar. Or maybe the pundits are just bad at their jobs

Studs up sliding challenge from Souttar on lerma. In the box. That would have been a freekick anywhere else. Should've been a pen.

We are a bit sloppy in possession in their third. Not as slick as Saturday. Still pretty assured at the back, just not quite clicking.

Parkerball loves the big switch, today it is skidding off the surface. Need a little less on it. Not sure Lerma for Lowe has paid dividends yet as Lowe on a couple of the balls that went to Christie might have forced a different outcome.

Never really seen an O’Neill team, but to get to the Euros, have a 36% win record and a GD of just -8 over his N Ireland tenure, he seems like a very good manager

Started brightly. Faded away. Let Stoke claw their way back in to it. Some good performers and a couple who are hiding.
Stoke will regroup at HT and give us a sterner challenge in the second half. We need to get Solanke involved or he needs to get involved himself because he's a passenger at the moment

Very frustrating half. Lots of possession, won the ball back in great areas on many occasions, but all the product was two weak shots from distance. The final pass is always misplaced. Need a bit more from the attacking midfield, especially with the passing in the final third
