Tyler Adams

And I know Leeds fans are bad,but my God didn't realize they were this bad.To sum it up going by social media(Immature as **************** commenting on other teams pages but anyway):

-Adams is a huge rat traitor because he didn't want to stay and 'fight' for promotion with God Leeds
-Why go to a trash small club like us who will be relegated
-He's not that good anyway
-Enjoy the dumbass American fans that will come with this(Yet they are owned by Americans now).

Get over it you Yorkshire pricks.

Interesting details in the athletic article. Suggests that the injury scared Chelsea off and that we wouldn't have got a look in otherwise. Deal agreed was above the release clause and the dispute was about the precise terms of the bid and whether they satisfied the clause. The clause was supposedly supposed to be secret so clubs were meant to be bidding blind to try and meet it. If the club didn't quite get the terms right then presumably their source of info wasn't quite right.

Hopefully he will be available soon after the international break.

The player I am waiting to see come back from injury is Marcus Tavernier, he made such a difference last season before his injuries.

Hopefully he will be back alongside Dango Ouattara after the international break.

Think as far as the lad from Bristol City is concerned it will probably be longer.

The midfielder established himself as one of the Premier League’s top tacklers in the 2022/23 season.

Only Joao Palhinha made more tackles per game than Adams, who stands in the 98th percentile of central midfielders with an average of 3.64 made per game.

He's an aggressive tackler of the ball, being unafraid to stick his foot in and try to win his challenges.

With a 64.5% tackle success rate, which was the fifth highest in the league, Adams rarely puts a foot wrong defensively.

His mobility is so high so is able to cover across the pitch, winning a huge number of his tackles in wide positions.

I think archer would be a great fit but his value and wages may be a problem
Wages a problem? Not a chance, we aren’t a championship club right now. He was on loan in the championship last season and will likely be on a very modest wage for PL level.

looks like an excellent acquisition
that fact we've royally pissed off those knuckle-draggers is a massive bonus

Shock, horror! Super secret release clause details weren't kept super secret by a player's agent trying to get him a move. Cry me a river.

I thought this was quite interesting as well:

If that's anything to go by, we could see an influx of player following US based fans.

Obviously the agent's are going to leak it but why didn't they leak the full details? That lack of transparency has just cost his new club £3m by the looks of it. Or perhaps AFCB only had third hand information not from the player's agent.
