Lloyd Kelly

We are a very strange club with regard to transfers and utilising players for what they are good at...We play them out of position and rotate too often...never any consistency.
It will probably cost us our place again in this PL.

I'm not over fussed on that score because it doesn't look as if that Stadium is going to happen too swiftly...or at all...and there is no urgency attached to the Training Ground project ...if indeed that is what that really is....doesn't seem like it to me by the look of the construction in the pictures. It looks like a Country 'Club' for rich Tories .

Nestling into the National League South in 2030 is not out of the bounds of reality....with Lorient on a similar plane over the channel.

I'm a Big Picture kind of dude with Zero trust.

- Walker Stand shades..,.Notts County...Glazers....that kind of sh*t.

I think you're trying to save face regarding the training ground.

I don't 'save face' for anything...for anybody...or for myself.
I just speak my mind always aiming for trying to make sense of what occurs around Kings Park under the Pine Trees. In a fierce wind those trees. they whistle the truth of bygone days and regimes !

Normally sea or river for you? As it does seem you enjoy :fish: ;)

£20m bid rejected.

Given he has less than 12 months left on his contract, that's surely one in the eye for those who think he's worthless at PL level.

I'm a fan of Kelly (but also Senesi and Zabarnyo) but this price (assuming true and not with silly conditions) must be close to testing our board's resolve. Unless it knows Kelly wants to sign a new contract the prospect of him walking away at the end of the contract must be worrying.

The other option is that he is seen as integral to the way AI wants to play and that there is a greater risk of relegation were he to go and the board think that the loss is worth it to be more likely to be in the Premier League next season.

Bristol City also have a sell on clause on any profit so that will eat into any money on the table.

In a way, given his contract situation, you'd hope that we'd been preparing for his departure. If Spurs come back in with a much bigger offer, maybe we can bring forward our plan
