AFCB Women

Fair play ladies... I make that 2 more goals scored in this game alone than our men's first team have mustered in 11 league and cup games.
Actually looking forward to watching this team on 5th November, could be fireworks.

Buckle up everybody, if you're going to the women's game you'll have a preview of what we can all expect before the mens games soon enough. Screenshot_20231022_203110_Gmail.jpg

On that note, any idea when tickets get posted?

I've ordered a ticket for me and my daughter who isn't into football but is excited to go see the ladies play. I mainly wanted to highlight a really good response from the club - my girl is autistic and situations like that can be tricky for her (wouldn't be taking her if she wasn't actively interested) and the club have offered a sensory pack for her, free of charge, to help with her visit. They've been great at seeing if there's anything else we need and offered more support if we need it. Really impressed!

What does a sensory pack entail out of interest?

I've not seen it for a few years, but I believe there are some ear defenders (will be taking some regardless) and some fiddle toys which can be a god send.

Edit:

Found this on COWS from 2019;

The items will come complete with an AFC Bournemouth draw string bag and will include the following:

Club branded mini soft football.
Autism Awareness card and keychain, which can be shown to matchday staff and stewards to ask for assistance when in the ground, including a map of the stadium.
Club-branded noise-cancelling headphones.
Menu for concourse food which can be shown at the concourse to order.

That sounds pretty good. Hope she enjoys it.
