I presume Zia will bite the dust soon.
However the only reason I hope for another reincarnation is that it proves that he is a troll.
 
Getting back to our situation.
I believe 14 points should be obtainable up to and including the Fulham game, so 20 at the half way point.
The down side is, I can also see only 7 more points on the board if we don’t hit the managers philosophy, that would be goodbye. Adios.

So impressive feb/March wins over liverpool and wolves didn’t count? Can I get my money back then?

Maybe if 6 games against bottom teams were spread evenly we wouldn’t had so many winning results in April and more in other months?

You can add them if you like, but it was April that defined our season. Unless you want to call out all wins under his management?

Yeah, @kirsikka is one of the good guys and his weekly accounts are wonderful. I always thought that the 38 write-ups plus cup games - woven together in one thread - would make for a really good recap of the season.

I think you make a good assessment.
What worries me is that we have only 6 points from 33. So to get the 14 points from the next 24 would need a massive improvement statistically.
If we can win the next 2 games, or even get 4 points, that will be a great lift.

But you could say we got 3 points in the first nine, but 3 in the next one!

Statistics aren't symmetrical
