second the Kew Gardens suggestion - all the streets around there (especially in the dreiction towards Richmond) don’t have restrictions at weekends. Ennerdale and streets off it are good. In winter there’s not many people visiting the garden so plenty of space, tends to get busier in spring. Only think to check is the District line/Overground is running ok
I'm not aware of any large car parks, just park would be the best betIs there any parking in Putney itself
Was thinking of going A31 Guildford and up the A3 to miss the closure on the 3
Sorry, I had a quick search for Ennerdale and couldn’t see it, is it spelt correctly?
Spelt correctly, Ennerdale Road, close to Tesco express.
Anywhere around there but avoid the residents parking which is mixed in.

Threads like this is what keeps me coming back to this site, like a moth to a flame. Within 12 hours, the best part of 30 replies offering great advice and help. Yet look at most of the other threads and it's like we don't get on at all. No matter what, we're all Cherries : )
Ps hopefully the Riverside Rocket drivers are prepared for the Motorway madness and pissed Rugger types wandering around. Don't want to be late, it's the Good Lady's birthday treat, going to London and bringing back the3 points : )
As posted on another thread there will still be 2 of 4 lanes closed during the day, so expect delays. They are not removing the cones each morning!!!!!!
A lot of London boroughs have free parking at weekendsBefore I suggest this.
Am I missing something?
Weekends appears to be unrestricted and there's a tube every ten minutes
Southfields parking zones - Wandsworth Borough Council

This is what I thought.A lot of London boroughs have free parking at weekends
You can view the streets nearby on Google maps, which confirmsThis is what I thought.
Only one stop on the tube.

I parked here, will do it again for more London games. Free all day, 2 min walk to Southfields on district line and not any further than parking at Richmond.
Thanks
And you made it to the Bricklayers in good time....This
Did exactly the same.
Would work for Chelsea as well.
Osterly parking for Brentford is good
Personally I think Richmond has had it's day due to cost and traffic
