AFC Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest - Sunday 2 pm

Use this, it updates the apps. You can actually see where it's raining and if it's coming for you.

IF Forest and Everton get a ten point deduction for cheating, that will make the bottom of the league interesting.

I've heard that because every club has bent or broken the rules, there's going to be a blanket 10 points deduction for all Premier League clubs and we all start with a clean slate next season : )

Strange map.
Has Ringwood, West Moors, Poole and Christchurch named but not Bournemouth.

Going under the weather radar.

Tinpot and proud.

I’ve looked at the last 4 league games for N Forest. These were two home games (Man U and Arsenal) and away at Newcastle and Brentford. N Forest gained 6 points although the XGs suggested this was about right, with 5 being the most likely. N Forest have scored 8 goals and conceded 7 with xG estimating 5.85 goals with 5.56 conceded meaning more goals conceded and scored than anticipated.

N Forest have had 6 different goal scorers with Wood the only player to have more than 1 goal with 3, including his hattrick against Newcastle. Elanga has 3 assists, with Montiel having 2 from right back with Hudson-Odoi and Murillo having one each.

The average positions of the starting line-ups are below. Forest look to counterattack (as borne out by low possession stats)with the majority of players in their own half, with the exception of the Brentford game in their own half.

The following graph compares summary stats of N Forest and AFCB over the last 4 games. On the underlying stats AFCB are doing well with more goal attempts, similar big chances, xG and goals scored, but have much better stats defensively for attempts conceded.

N Forest have a relatively low percentage possession at 40%, with AFCB at 45%. The values for chances created and conceded from open play are relatively similar.

Looks like it will be a draw according to these stats.

Ivory Coast won their match yesterday, so that is the other two Forest players still not available to Forest for their FA Cup game and home to Newcastle United.

Aurier has moved to play in Turkey.

This is a big banana skin game if we ain't 'On It.' ..I think we will be....and Forest might be cacking their pants...however it was a narrow loss at Arsenal...so they have a fighting element available.
Recent meetings between us suggest they are due some Joy....but those emotions can be on hold for years and years...there is no set agenda with that kind of scenario.

No this is Our Time....The Cherries making their mark....a volcano popping it's crest out and above the top of the Tinpot...and spurting it's lava...splashing any Forest fans that get in the way..

A few years ago when Stuart Pearce was their manager. We were all over them but lost the game. Even Pearce admitted he didn’t know how they’d won.
So in my book we’ve still got credit in the bank over them.

Spurting its lava over Forest fans? Has your account been hacked by MB1980?

I remember that. It was an evening game and we slaughtered them.

Or we all start with minus points. Would be amusing if City didn't make it to one point as they started with -100 as they probably should.

Will be tough but I think we’ve moved away from ‘must win’ games
I don't think so. Am generally feeling positive, but we could easily drop into the relegation group again. We need to start winning again. I'd like to see Tavernier looking a bit sharper, like he was last season and Semenyo too. This will make us less dependent on Dom, which is important now in case he gets injured or his form slows and for next season too when I don't think he will be our player.

Maybe you mean last year rather than last season.

I'm still happy how we're playing and fancy us to win today.

Pretty sure Andoni won't be saying 'it's alright boys. We're safe. Let's try and win this, but if not, don't worry as we're 12th, so bravo'. We need to start winning again, and this is one of the easier ones to win on paper'.
