Kieffer Moore

The task is to win games not get the best out of Kieffer Moore. He's a decent enough Championship player but building a premier league side around Kieffer Moore would be a stupid idea.
Absolutely agree. However, Moore could be accommodated as an impact sub. We could change our shape and formation in a position where we are in a 0-0 situation with 20 minutes to play and need to change the angle of attack to disrupt the opposition, Hence, we choose not to do this. Hence, one reason why he does not hit the target for us.

He did hit the target for us in exactly the way you describe though didn't he.

Yes, but not often enough as we so often failed to utilise him correctly. The same situation applied to Glenn Murray who used to score for Brighton for fun as they used him to his strengths. It does make me wonder why we sign players of this calibre if we fail to not use them correctly,

We did, and he's missed quite a few 'easy' ones.

Parker signed him in the 2022 January transfer market,
he doesn't fit the way we play now that's why he has left on loan to try and get game time.

Wow I agree with you. I might need to schedule another check up at the GP!

The Defoe signing was in the same bracket. On paper he and Murray were great signings. But we rarely played tactically to their strengths.

Much of it I think comes down to the manager's development of their own philosophy (which needs time working with the squad) and finding the formula they think will get them results. Often, certain players have been left by the wayside because they are square pegs in round holes rather than not being good enough.

But in the case of Moore I do think we're missing a trick of having a radical plan B which could help us unlock certain teams' playing styles.

I also agree with others who say that he's missed presentable chances. But then so did Solanke, until he was given a regular role and effort put into his development. With Moore it's always looked like the path was being cleared for him to leave.

Why would we have a player on the bench solely for that scenario when the reality is that we’d never be in that situation. The realism of things would be that we’d be losing with 20 minutes to go…

The main thing is that he’s keeping himself sharp for his national team. Clearly he had no future here under the current regime, so I’m happy to see that he’s doing what he needs to do for his future in this loan spell.

He was a massive part of our return to the PL, for which I will always be grateful but it’s hard to see what he can do for us from here on in.

I like many others have really enjoyed our attacking ability since AI has been in charge. We always look dangerous when we are attacking.
