Two people to blame for the dropped points today.

Neto, we need to accept the fact that he’s become a liability. He’s costing us way too many goals. Not good enough.

Iraola. For persisting in starting Tavernier when Sinisterra is obviously a far better player. Couldn’t care less how much Tavernier grafts/tracks back etc if he is going to hit every cross straight into the keepers arms. If we start Sini today we win comfortably, that’s on Iraola.

Oh, and Dango is our best left back. And I’m being serious.

Neto is easily our best keeper.

Sini never plays well when started.

Dango is not a FB and has only played a handful of minutes there. Not enough for even you to go overboard on.

More hyperbole from Waz.

Substitutes knowing they are only on for 15 or 20 minutes, play entirely differently to players who start.

You know better than Iraola?

You didn’t. You predicted we’d lose.

And what nonsense you talk, we weren’t let off the hook. There were two stupid errors by Neto, but the team shone through with a quality of play to get a deserved draw. Had Dom not slipped it may have been a different outcome.

All solid points imo.

Sini is a quality player for sure. But his impact coming on for 30 mind seems to carry a lot more weight. His pace, agility, dribbling and goal threat against tiring legs seems to cause mayhem for the opposition.

Yes Neto is best keeper we have. Woukkdbt surprise me to see us sign genuine competition for him/replace him in Summer with someone better or as good but not prone. Others at the club aren't at level needed imo.

Dango is nowhere near as good as kerkez or Kelly. Well over the top citing him as best lb at the club.

We are basically safe already. Would take a huge meltdown for us to get relegated from here. You don't think we can the 3 or so points we need from the rest of the season?

Yes that pen and Neto display gave us a big handicap to overcome.

Although strictly speaking that is the rule. Another joke with goal being overuled. Awful.

Just needed a player sent off to complete mishaps today.
 
Hard to pinpoint what exactly was wrong. I guess for me the main problem was that triangle of Kerkez, Tavernier, and Christie while they were on. Seemed to constantly have the ball and kept passing between themselves without doing anything. One of Christie’s worst games in a while, and Tavernier needs dropping and has done for a while. Kerkez very disappointing.

Zabarnyi and Mepham were good I thought. Would have to watch the goals back cos obviously conceding 2 to this dross isn’t a good look. But both were good imo. I would have started Ünal personally, Dom didn’t look right.

I think we should stick to the double pivot of Cook and Christie for now, and Kluivert I don’t think played that badly either. But yeah, the winger positions are definitely there for the taking. Sinisterra has to start, and I think Dango is making a genuine case to start at LB ahead of Kerkez.

What a disappointing performance.
