Max Aarons

Do you actually read anyone else’s posts?

In brief, as you’ve obviously missed it:

1. We are not the team with the most injuries
2. Pitches drain well, watering done prior to game to make ball skim better across surface, most if not all teams do it, not just us

Why do you do nothing but complain about AFCB?
He's just a bit bitter that he watched us in the third tier years ago but we get to see us compete against arguably the best club sides in the World - although many posters have probably seen more lower league Boscombe matches than him too ;)

No I’m talking about recent signings.

In the summer we’ve spent 115m on Aaron’s, Kerkez, Scott, Sinisterra, Faivre and Adams.

We haven’t had them on the pitch much. Collectively they’ve started 39 games out of 145. They haven’t exactly added 115m worth of value yet, but like all fans I trust they will all make a great contribution in the future, because I understand the difficulties involved in bedding new players in etc. But I have to agree that all of them add potential to the squad.

I read just about all the posts...you see I'm not enough' up myself' like some who resort to IGNORE .
I have my £ucking opinions and I will express them as boldly as I feel..I don't care for 'right' or 'wrong' follow ups.
The Pitch Watering didn't exactly bode well for Solanke's Pen did it ?...perhaps LESS water .. you savvy ? .. than would normally be applied bearing in mind the amount of rain last week !
Jesus Christ.

but as people have said the pitch drains away real fast, alot quicker then on normal fields, in the PL pitches sometimes are watered even if it's raining, not just us but all the teams, the pitches aren't the same as the non league ploughed fields

I think I’ll go with the groundsman’s expertise rather than the meandering witterings of someone who won’t listen to or be swayed by facts

Not enough up himself - interesting considering the evidence but that’s fine. The new world of Trump truth denial is alive and vibrant.
Maybe not living in the previous century and understanding, albeit not embracing, the modern world may ease some of your anxiety.
As for watering the pitch, maybe the world is running out of that fresh stuff so we’ll revert to salt water and that should suit your swash-buckling naval background.

That’s a little bit disingenuous isn’t it?

Adams- yes you have a point with that one.

Scott- picked up an unavoidable impact injury.

Aarons- has barely missed a game over the past four years before signing for us, the only data you can use to predict the future is the past unless you expect Hughes to see into the future?

Kerkez- was injured for a bit yeh, as will every player be at some point. So what? Bit harsh to expect Hughes to sign players immune from injury.

Sinisterra- didn’t sign unfit, he’d been playing for Leeds in the championship. He barely starts because the manager chooses not to, despite the fact he nearly always looks good when he plays.

Unal- we were only able to get due to his injury situation. He is a regular la liga goal scorer in his prime who we have the option to sign for 14m. He’s had one big injury in his career, an ACL which can happen to any player. Up until that point he’s played regularly wherever he’s been. He’s had limited minutes so far but looked very promising.

You make some good points but you ruin your argument when you try to twist everything to prove a point like this. Maybe it’s not black and white? Maybe we’ve signed some good ones and some duds. Maybe Hughes isn’t totally incompetent but he’s also not a world beater either? Made a few mistakes but also got quite a bit right along the way too. Just a thought.

Spot on. Just says things to suit his agenda

Very well said thst man! I agree entirely.

Brian and Neil just talk down everything AFCB related. It’s incredible.
But credible to them.
I think it's a good thing for at least a few of us to present some different angles on things 'Afcb'.

I even absolutely hate the term 'Afcb'.

Should be Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic FC...hey they are 'athletes' now are they not ? ..ha hah...ha ha hah... .got that one in !
....or even Boscombe St John's Institute FC ....wouldn't that be something when we face Madrid or the like..in a Euro Final....I could get AI to bring my Great Grandad back to life from bones ..he who watched the old St John's boys pre- 1899 !
Without them there would no club now ..no History..£uck -all !

Still two feet firmly in the past…

Right... Matt Stevenson.. would you be so kind to provide some pitch-watering stats to settle this slippery question?
