Tyler Adams

Pathetic really, you can claim it’s an attempt at irony but really it’s just being very sad.

I also said the below bit. But the difference between one of your posts and mine is, mine is admitting my own inability to spot what others saw on Wednesday. Whilst you will build an opinion and then spend years trying to prove it.

I’m happy to be wrong.
To be human is to eeer as they say.

You’re frustrated as an AFCB supporter. We’ve just had the best decade in our history.
What would it take to make Mr Entitled happy?
I’ve never been happier thanks! In terms of how would I be less frustrated at how we spend our money…. Buying less injured and injury prone and injury managed players..

We wouldn’t get a player of Tyler Adams’ quality without a bit of injury issue - he would be at a better club. Could sign someone like killkenny though who has an excellent injury record. It’s a squad game so you get injuries, part of football. Hence de Bruyne has missed a lot of games recently but I would sign him if had the chance

Remind me where we signed him from? Was it Liverpool or Man City…

Or was it from the championship with recently relegated Leeds…

I don’t buy that myth sorry.

Or more like Liverpool better get used to it;)

Similar to those Fulham fans, wonder if Neil is going to sign up to Liverpool forum and give them a warning of what to expect.

Lots of injuries. Lots of cocktails.
Lots of rinse and repeat tedious drivel

You can not buy it if you want but it’s the reality. Chelsea were all set to sign him but pulled out when they realised the extent of his injury issue. Applying the same logic for assume that you believe that James Maddison was an attainable signing for us in the Summer, being from recently relegated Leicester after all?

Does anyone seriously believe that Hughes made the final decision on the Adams signing anyway? He will obviously have explained his injury situation to Foley who will have then made the final decision. Iraola said as much in an interview that the club knew what they were getting themselves into with the signing. He was always signed as a long term option and not one to play immediately, it wasn’t a shock to anyone that it took so long for him to get fit. You can only argue that this was a flawed strategy if it cost us our position in the league, which it hasn’t. It was actually very smart. We will start next season with a top DM who we signed at well bellow his actual market value and we haven’t really lost anything in return (aside from the players wages.)

That not the kind of thread for those that do little but knock the club and gleefully jump on bad news.

It doesn't matter where he is still gned from it matters who else is in for him when we signed him, which was Chelsea and Liverpool and they pulled out because of his injuries. It couldn't be more clear that we were only able to sign him because of the injuries.

The irony of you posting that to Waz is hopefully not lost on you Rob. He’s done nothing but knock the club, back other teams to finish above us and change his name since he’s joined…

That’s official is it?

Someone only being with you because other people wouldn’t sign them medically doesn’t count for a lot when they haven’t started a game by April…

I think there are a few signings where it may not have been solely Hughes. The Roma link and obviously the Lorient link are through Foley and you'd think it may be a case of take your pick from these available players. The Roma owner even tried to force Zaniolo to move to AFCB.

I've said before but I think this injury thing is a deliberate Moneyball type strategy and if it is you'd think Foley was behind that too given how it's not something we did before he arrived. Clearly injured players are cheaper because of the risk and if you get it right you are quids in. Risky though.

It's not made up is it. It'll count for a lot of he turns out to be as good as many people think he is.
