Ah, now this is one for the more tactical aware. Neil, waz etc.
He was mostly central to left midfield, although ironically got booked just inside the opponents half close to his right touchline.

For Traore they ask for 25 million because he was bought by a fucking English team, teams that pump the market by overpaying people who are worth at least half
that. Traore is a 10 million player if you stay wide. Technically it is valid, but it has fundamentals that are missing from chicks oh, what are we talking about

Always over pay in January so there is an element of over valuation anyway.

I like traore and he will do well in Italy. Third highest marks on the bbc rate a player page - decent performance unless franno and Hughes kept voting all night

You can see their point to an extent - he looks a very good technical player, comfortable in tight spaces, didn't seem to lose the ball much and has decent pass accuracy.... but he drifted around the pitch a bit and didn't really play anything that looked like a killer defence splitting pass.

There were clearly some wavelength issues with his teammates so these may be ironed out. There still looks a real player in there to me, time will tell.

He turned into an 80 mill plus player on football manager.

That's good enough for me ;)

Funny rnough on that he's very technical, agile, intelligent... but lacks genuine pace or strength. He looks very much a player who'd do well on the comtinent compared to English football tbh, looking at his attributes.
 
From what I've seen he's been poor last couple of games. They'll have to pay a loan fee now but this is the one signing that stands out as not working. He's got plenty of decent attributes but whether he can turn this into playing well under AI looks doubtful at this point.

Coukd be one of those players that ends up in Saudi.

We'd likeky get the fee we want, and he'd get a bumper pay day.

Not sure any Euro teams will dish out 25 mill tbh.

Quite possible. Tbh I don't particularly trust any of these deals - I reckon there's all sorts of shenanigans and backhanders going on behind the scenes.

Just don't think AI rates him highly enough. Not that he isn't a good player, more he doesn't suit his system.

Or at least not enough to warrant finances involved with him, that he feel could be put to better use on more suitable players.

Even if he goes for half what we paid we will still see a healthy profit from that January transfer window long term. That's even including the inflated connected-parties Dango deal.
