Wolves v AFC Bournemouth - Wednesday 7.45 pm

Should have been out of sight after 45-60 mins, in the end had to hang on for dear life, benefit from a dodgy decision, and age about 10 years during stoppage time (all 13 mins of it).

If we could just take our chances…

All the talk from Wolves understandably on the disallowed header. But it does give them and O’Neil convenient cover for the fact they were poor and created little.

Not sure on the first disallowed goal, was a strange thing to do but doesn't really impact much. Also not sure Kerkez is a red, a little clumsy and late but a yellow probably enough?
It's one of those where if he gets there first, it's an amazing tackle. But, if he doesn't, it's a potential serious injury.I don't think we can argue too much about the red myself.

Overly enthusiastic. Hopefully, he'll learn from it. I think Cunha could have got a red for hitting Kluivert in the face.
If you wind it back a few seconds, you see Kluivert give Cunha a bump which probably caused him to retaliate. It also put Kluivert off stride a bit, which may have interfered with him making a play on Semedo before the pass.

Agree that it was unexpected and maybe a bit harsh, but we were definitely due one. The offside was by just a few inches, but lino spotted it so the right call.

Yeah I don't buy this idea that it didn't interfere with play. He would have been closing their player down if he didn't get clobbered. May not have stopped it but we'll never know.

I was very glad that Gary O'Neil was in charge last season.

I am overjoyed that Andoni Iraola is our manager this season.

Progress from a forward thinking board and owner.

We're starting to look 'proper' Premier League. Really solid and as dangerous as hell thanks to AI.

I always felt on this incredible journey that we were kind of winging it at times but this looks the real deal, in all departments to use a pun. I think its absolutely incredible.

20 years ago he would not have even got a yellow but they way things are now it’s always going to be a red. Semedo got booked early and kept fouling and should have been off long before Kerkez
I think 20 years ago there's a good chance it wouldn't have been a foul.

Much like the Cook incident, the reaction got the card. I bet if Kluviert had made a meal of the elbow he'd have got their player sent of.

I’m not hearing any complaints about VAR tonight. You can’t swing your arm at someone and not give a foul. He’s lucky he didn’t get a red, if you think that Cook got a red in the reverse fixture for delicately, tenderly pushing his nose into Hwang. I don’t care whether it’s interfering with play or not, it’s technically violent conduct during the passage of play. Inarguable decision.

The offside is offside, all there is to it. It’s not the ones I like to see as a football fan, but that’s how it’s been for years now, we’ve all had them.

The Kerkez red card is probably a red; it’s debatable, but he went in with a lot of aggression and it could’ve been very reckless. Unfortunate but it is what it is.

I don’t think there can be any complaints at all. Every decision was understandable and correct. Semedo could easily have seen red for all his fouls, but whatever. The better team won. The better manager won. Up the Cherries.

Lino gave it offside didn't he? That's the way it should be.
