Richard Hughes

Faivre
Outtara
Adams
Scott
Two of those signings were to allow the owner to put money and a player into his French club, one helps grow the popularity of the club in the states (be better if he played, obviously) and the other looks a real talent to me - although I don't get to see the considerably better view on TV that often ;)

Still, don't let those FACTS get in the way.

There were other things you were wrong so Del should have plenty of ammo.

You forgot Zaniolo in the list of crap Hughes dad scouted for him in Italy. Oh and Radu.

You also forgot we could have had a better keeper than Neto for his eye watering wages and Darren Randolph. Other teams have a kid that offers third choice back up. We pay PL wages to someone to carry the cones out and then loan someone else in if it ever looks like we might need to put him on the bench.

Good work if you can get it….
You will be denying that Hughes really winds you up next ;-)

So do we continually pay over inflated prices to keep LOrient in business?

Neither Faivre or Outtara have looked like 5 million quid players at this stage.

We have spunked how much?

20 or 30 million pounds?

Why are you so keen to write Faivre off? He's looked alright in the few spells he's had. What's the rush to make a judgement on him?

Or the number of loanees on a list trying to highlight not recouping transfer fees.
Danjuma went for a healthy profit. Time will tell on the players still on the books, there is a thing called assets. It's very easy to pick a moment in time, after a big selling period when we got relegated. The players bought in the championship, what did they cost in total, 10m?
How many clubs in the prem apart from brighton have Made any sort of net profit?

He's looked awful.

Lightweight, misplaced passes.

Not confident in his ability at PL level.

Surely to counteract the argument, you will point to the great things he has done in his short spell in the PL.

Which are what SDD?

He looked good against Man United but I've not really seen enough of him to judge how good he is. I don't know why anyone would feel the need to slag him off already, what's the point?

Interesting how you see opinions as winning and losing…explains a lot!!

You always said they’d be working together again. Still waiting. I don’t see this as you losing by the way because I’m not a dick.
One or two on here claimed Eddie Howe would never work with Tindall again.

I don’t think you were one of them.

You can tell if a player has it or not.

Outttara and Faivre don't.

An opinion of course, but time will tell.

Bills multi club model balances the books nicely for FFP rules, but it doesn't provide PL ready players for the inconvenience

What he may not have realised yet is that Lorient players like Faivre and Outtara may well look great in French league , but the discrepancy between the French top League and the EPL is more significant than he has imagined.

He's gone so far as to buy a NZ soccer club.

I'll eat my own ass if any NZ soccer player from the new franchise ever plays in the PL, and looks like he belongs there.

Faivre was signed from Lyon and had more appearances than Banksy for them (thanks for that one)

There's always a risk in making that leap to the PL, however its too early to say on him. Also the fee was peanuts in the big scheme of things and probably worth the risk.

Worth the risk?

What's the sliding scale of risk here?

Was Hamed Traore worth the risk?

What's the risk scale?

So you thought morgan rogers was going to make it when he was on was loan? And we should of signed him?
