Paper talk

Every successful transfer deal starts off as paper talk so not sure what point you are trying to make ?

To perhaps make it simpler for you .........printed to take up space in a newspaper...and nothing will come of it ?

Still not simple enough sorry ! All completed transfer deals will start in the way you just described as well as all the phony ones.

This could be just as likely as not at this stage.

Our interest has been confirmed by the Yorkshire Evening Post reporter on twitter - they were pretty on the ball with the Lewis Cook transfer.

Doubt wer would be the only ones in for him though.

Daniels. Smith. Wiggins. Mings. Ake (who did a sterling job there last season so at a pinch would still be a decent option). Hasn't Adam Smith even played there for us as well?

I make that five either specialist or very good options with an emergency 6th choice. I think Cook might also have played a few times there for Brighton. Make that 7! We've over-flowing with potential left backs.

This can't be true.

He can play left midfield as well, apparently. For those of us who'd like to see Adam Smith at right midfield if we're going to continue playing two up front then this could be a logical alternative to that.
