Can we just work from the starting point that Smith is not a LB….
Also probably a personal thing at this point, as actually Billing has been worse and he does work hard, but Christie is so frustrating in the areas of the pitch that he is supposedly in the team for. The wrong option or a terrible shot every.single.time.
 
Presumably they idea to start Smith at LB was to have a more experienced defender to counter Maddison as he was lethal in and around that position on Monday. Yet the goal came from them having a three v two out there and so we couldn't close down the cross.

Billing had an absolute 'mare that half.

We need to attack the game. I'd bring on Zemura and Anthony. Reunite them with Billing to make the triangle that was our most effective threat last season.

Take off Fredericks as he's now a walking red card given how stupid that yellow was from the ref. Move Smith and Tavernier to the right. Obviously Christie has to come off after that **************** show.
