Alan Groves article

He was an absolute genius. I remember him sitting on the ball at DC after skinning a couple of defenders.

They don't make em like that anymore.
 
Great player and entertainer, don’t get them these days.

Really enjoyed him playing for us and from memory he had a cracking powerful shot on him as well.

There will be only one Alan Groves.

Harry Redknapp has eulogised him in several articles, such a shame that next to no footage exists of him. What a subject for a documentary.
 
Yes, I was lucky to watch him too, great player. Remember being surprised and saddened to hear of his death at such a young age.
