Understand the comments on the daily mail but I have found the sports coverage in daily mail to be a very high standard and very pro Afcb and Eddie, especially in our first prem season. They have had decent features on arter, Fraser, Wilson, Defoe etc. This seems to have changed and got even worse with a new Monday supplement (the verdict) reflecting a decrease in quality of reporting.
 
Daily Mail chief football writer Martin Samuel is a West Ham fan is and this guy probably is as well. Nothing in it other than salty personal emotions.
 
The journalist is from Stoke so would go some way to explaining the bitterness. Personally not interested in his take on the game, as above posts he's clearly not watched the game.
