If you watch his interviews and listen to his comments he really doesn't seem too bothered about the end result. Smacks of a man who knows he won't be here next season irrespective of what league we are in .

If the question had been (or had been heard to be). "Did at any time during the game you thought it was won?" then the answer is reasonable. It is won only when the final whistle is blown.

I just can't believe that any manager would answer the stated question that way.

Completely agree, if he’d answered yes, then that opens up a whole can of worms regarding naivety, complacency, unprofessionalism, lack of respect for the league leaders etc.

So the answer is no, we never do, not until the final whistle is blown. But who knows what he said, or if he just simply said nothing else because he was fed up and just wanted to do his media duties as quick as possible and get out.
