To be honest though, I don't particularly care for being pitchside... I like the view from Newcastle's away end.
I agree. Its infinitely superior to being down at the front at Arsenal and Everton

I like the fact that from the away end at St James' you can see the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
I agree with this as a way to make West Ham a decent day out. You can also, get the underground to Stratford and change onto the DLR for one stop to Pudding Mill Lane. It puts you near to the right entrance and saves a load of hassle. The trick to making West Ham a good day out is to go there from Greenwich or Deptford. Plenty of pubs, riverside walks and places to eat in both places, plus a touristy market in Greenwich or a proper street market in Deptford. Then 20 minutes on a direct DLR train to Pudding Mill Lane which has no queues and is right behind the away end.
I still think City is a bit underrated as an away trip. The Northern quarter is great for drink, locals and City fans fine and not too hard to get to from the City centre.
Pleased that they still actually seem excited to be beating teams like us - get into it a bit more than teams like Arsenal, United, etc..
Bournemouth against Brentford in the Pemier League. How unlikely would that have sounded a few years ago? Would be great to go back there before they move.
Minibus, definitely our prefered choice. Good travelling companions (on the whole),
You were beyond comment Rob : )Was I "good", or "on the whole"? ;-)
As long as you don't have any more crashes. With more time on my hands next year I hope to do quite a few games.
