The world legend is way overused in football, but Brett is undoubtedly a club legend. Without him we don’t even exist now. There would have been no league 2 promotion. There would have been no league one promotion. He contributed heavily towards the championship promotion too. There are very few who have made such an impact at a singular club over so many divisions. I have no idea if he’s on the legends wall or not, but if he’s not then he bloody well should be!

speaking with him if you didn't know about him you wouldn't realise what level he played at, he is so grounded, he goes to most charity events at shaftesbury club and will chat with drunken bournemouth fans about his time at our club

Saw him in the away end at West Ham a couple of years back, the fact that so many were walking past him without recognising who he was was both sad and telling.

I found conversation easy but it was a complete different setting in a bar conversation seems to flow easier
