It does indeed. He was at a high profile club like Spurs. Most clubs would have had him watched with his contract situation.

He’s shown himself at Championship level and in Scotland. But other clubs haven’t been banging the door down to sign him.

We had question marks over him regarding his turning speed, acceleration and overall pace and that was from watching him on tv.

If those were indeed valid concerns then that could be why Premier League clubs are looking at other options.

Agree. Decent in championship but I would worry in prem. Phillips on loan better than signing ccv

Agree...at championship level for us he was excellent and then we played Premier league Saints in the cup and he was undone by pace and anticipation.
Still would have signed him if possible as think he would have learned the anticipation week to week and wasn't slow but the two things go hand in hand...develop one the other is linked
