Championship 21/22

Sweet that you care. It’s realism, they are just too strong over the course of a 46 game season.

Wtf are you on about. We've literally played WBA and we're at least as good as them and that's when we had a much depleted squad. Fulham have shown recently that they're a bit soft. They might finish top two but there's absolutely nothing to suggest they are too strong over a 46 game season from what we've seen. Definitely pessimism.

Agreed, almost comes across as trolling as Waz seems pretty switched on in general with football. Outrageous comment to make at this stage.

We just don't know. We can hope but would be dangerous to assume we'll be top 2 or pessimistic to assume we won't be. We can only hope and maybe predict a little but it will come down to management, squad morale, injuries, supporters and a bit of luck too I think.

although betfair does have them as the favourites - both comfortably over evens though.

3 horse race it seems...

If, at the end of last season, someone had said that after 9 matches:
- AFCB will be top of the table
- Travers would be our first team goalie and letting in less than a goal a match
- Solanke would have scored 6 goals and a shot accuracy rate of 74%
- Antony and Zemura would be first team regulars making a partnership that is exciting and contributes very much to our success.

... this without Steve Cook and Lewis Cook and Stan and Brooks also being on the treatment table.

Who would have believed them?

Oh, and that Football is fun again.

Definitely going to be an interesting season tbh.....I think we've certainly got a strong enough squad to compete for the top two.....on the balance of play I'd say we're slightly fortunate to be top though as we really haven't been that impressive yet.... although fans of West Brom would probably say the same of their team.
Fulham might be too inconsistent to challenge imo..... definitely got a soft underbelly that neither us or West Brom have.
