Eddie to Celtic?

Defend democracy by pocketing maximum personal gain is a contradiction surely.

Seems a very expensive raisin but might be the only ingredient on the shelf for xmas pudding recipe.

Oh god. Autocorrect has set Jim off on another six months of brining up a spelling error in every post.

The apologists latest scapegoat is auto corrrect.

If only there was a preview option and posters could take responsibility for the content they post....

Auto correct seems to have removed the explanation as to how the uk got any benefit from these expenses.

Lol. I don't think anyone cares enough about spelling errors. Still, at least we can all look forward to you obsessively bringing up the fact that my phone changed a word as I typed it and I didn't bother to check for months on end.

UKIP voters don't give a toss if their MEPs ripped off the EU. They saw the whole thing as a rip off of UK taxpayers and we're probably glad their representatives took as much as they could. You and I might not like that but our opinion doesn't really matter because we didn't vote for them.

Is it really worth getting so wound up about selling misplaced?

better things to get outrageously indignant about, no mention of refunding public money
Other preferred suppliers are available.

The company that assesses benefit claimants in NI, Capita, has apologised to Derry and Strabane councillors for any errors made by them in the past.
Capita and Department for Communities (DfC) officials were speaking at a special council meeting on Wednesday.
Councillors highlighted the problems some people faced when trying to access Personal Independence Payments (PIP).
Brendan Flynn of Capita said: "There's always a risk that we won't get things 100% right all of the time."
He told the meeting: "On the occasions where things do go wrong - we apologise - and we will continue to apologise and seek to put things right as soon as we become aware of any issue where we might have failed.
"We look to put in place safeguards, checks and balances and the continuous improvement processes to ensure those errors don't happen again."

In June, Communities Minister Deidre Hargey confirmed the DfC's contract with Capita had been extended for a further two years until 2023

Now that's something worth getting your knickers in a twist about. A single mum I know had her Universal Credit completely cut - about £700 payment - because they moved her part time minimum wage job payday forward one day to accommodate a bank holiday. Rather than putting two and two together they just assumed this meant that her earnings had doubled. Hours and hours that she didn't have spent on the phone before they eventually admitted their mistake and promised to pay her two months after the error. As if a single mum can just lose half her income for two months with no issues.

They haven’t forgotten him!

Eddie Howe, remember him?

The Englishman was set to repair the broken pieces of Celtic 's 10-in-a-row bid by bringing the attractive and highly tactical football he employed at Bournemouth that had the likes of Gary Lineker fawning over him.

But after months of deliberation, the Parkhead club could not secure his appointment, opting instead for Ange Postecoglou, and it seems other clubs have suffered the same fate.

The Daily Record writers come across as the type of blokes who get dumped by a girl and then spend years stalking them on Facebook bemoaning that the girl was never good enough for them to begin with.

Intrigued with how this will turn out.

He's already in the Champions League, with a chance to get more than 4 European matches, in 2 competitions, like he would with Celtic : )

The only reason anyone decides to play/manage there - Champions League

Yep, for certain level of manager it seems a decent move for a season or two, as it appears to regularly lead to a PL job.

Strangely though, the bloke with ginger hair and eyes, is now managing in Cyprus. I imagine that's personal choice, as in role out of the limelight and better climate for a while.
