I think we all knew Solanke had little or no chance of being involved. Kane, Watkins and Foden were always going to be in etc, but I certainly think Solanke is a better bet than Toney at this current time.

We could well have asked him not to be considered due to injury concerns, but I’m not sure that’s the sort of thing we’d do?

Cook is a better midfielder than Henderson. As is JWP, and others I’m probably forgetting. Not a bad squad really but as always a few weird picks for me.

Kelly at a “””better””” club without a lot of the “fan baggage” and injuries, IMO, gets into that squad ridiculously easily.

They may be but that is a very sad reflection on the lack of quality in this country. Zabarnyi is as good if not better than either of them.

Kelly, Senesi and Zabarnyi are certainly better prospects over the couple of years and on their day put in better performances.
