Not many played, that’s part of the problem!I’m sure he loved them on Saturday.

Do you think he would have been on if he was still with us?O’Neil has come over very well tonight on Sky……have we made a big mistake?
For those not watching MNF, they showed footage of the Wolves training ground and O'Neil prepping his team for how to play through our midfield. Then they showed it in action in the game. It worked multiple times and led directly to their first goal. Can't deny O'Neil's preparation is excellent. The only annoying thing is Carragher keeps interrupting to make his usual naff jokes.
Don’t know but all I’m saying is he is coming over a lot clearer than he did with us.Do you think he would have been on if he was still with us?

According to O'Neil he was surprised that we actually played two holding midfielders at the weekend (Cook and Scott) where we normally only play with one. He tinkered with things at half time to counter it.Every team has played directly through our midfield. I've never seen a side leave such a massive hole in the middle of the park as we do.
So so trueEvery team has played directly through our midfield. I've never seen a side leave such a massive hole in the middle of the park as we do.
It's a Lerma shaped hole. Apparently one of the few things you can see from space.Every team has played directly through our midfield. I've never seen a side leave such a massive hole in the middle of the park as we do.

Near enough every opposition has cut us open at least once or twice a game with one ball through the middle.Every team has played directly through our midfield. I've never seen a side leave such a massive hole in the middle of the park as we do.

He always came across well. Did wonders for us last season and our hierarchy treated him like dirt. They then went and put an untested amateur in charge who couldn't organise a team to look coherent for more than 20 minutes.O’Neil has come over very well tonight on Sky……have we made a big mistake?
