Harry Arter

Arter hasn’t acknowledged the fans once in weeks now... No idea what is up here, but if he’s stropping cos some ignorant fans cheered for L.Cook coming on and Booed for L.Cook coming off, then as sh*t as that is, he does need to accept that not everyone is going to Love him 100% of the time...

Is it Eddie, or us fans that he’s got a beef with... either way he needs to buck up and start putting in the performances we all know he’s capable of...

Threw a bottle when he was subbed off. Unsure if that's anger, frustration, with himself or with the score or with the sub, who knows.

Against Everton, before the booing - which was not about him anyway - the fans were singing his song as he warmed up.

If he has a problem with the fans then it's in his head.

Last time Arter signalled the fans was when he last scored at home... Ran to the NS cupping his ears...

He has an issue with the fans...

He clapped the north stand along with the others before the game against Everton and clapped again during his warm up.

Rarely involved in a forward pass yesterday in total contrast to Lewis Cook. But H maybe under instructions to keep it simple and allow LC to be expressive. Whatever you do not need to be a body language expert to realise all is not welll between Club and Harry.

My guess is that Harry is more angry with himself than anyone else over his loss of form, which is probably quite inexplicable to him as he has been very consistent for several seasons.

If you have never played a lot of football over an extended period it is probably difficult to understand when a player stops playing as we know he can for no apparent reason, but loss of form happens without warning or explanation, and sometimes trying too hard to make your best form return only makes matters worse.

Eddie will surely trust Harry and help him to come out of it sooner or later and we will have our midfield star back again.

I should add that having a run of great form when a player just can't do anything wrong is just as inexplicable as a run of bad form where nothing goes right.

He has been such big part of our success that the slightest bit of booing or abstruse criticism aimed at him is going to play on his emotions and make him behave a certain way. That, combined with still probably being affected by losing a child (takes years or never for most people) its predictable.

Wish him the best if true.....but i'd find it really difficult watching him play for someone else tbh....
