Another name linked with Cherries, reports in Spain claim the club have recently lodged a bid for Valladolid defender Ivan Fresneda.

But Spanish outlet Revelo claim the 18-year-old has turned down advances from both Cherries and Crystal Palace.

We could end up with a 18yo RB, 19yo LB and 19yo MF joining soon. Clear change of strategy. Sell on in a few years time. But we are paying quite a chunk of money now for these 3 whereas Brighton have been unearthing more of the lesser knowns and selling on handsomely. Time will tell if we are doing the right thing. I like it though.
