The same question is being asked on our side too. What's strange is that he was still being selected for matchday squads between the tour and the termination. Popular theory is that an internal investigation had been ongoing and innocent until proved otherwise. As for the delay after the termination, I guess the EFL had to tread carefully before reaching this point.
