Dango is a hit and miss type player but no way is he as useless as you say. AI is indeed a really good coach and he clearly likes Dango enough to regularly pick him. He missed the first four games through injury and then a few when he was at the ACN - other than that he's featured in 24 of the 26 games he was available for and has averages over 35 minutes on the pitch in those games.

Maybe a lack of understanding English/Spanish still is contributing to things and he's struggling to understand instructions.
Mathieu Baudry was here when Dango first arrived to help translate and settle in if I recall. Not sure if that's still the case.
