Leeds United new badge

Got to say I still think you can’t jolly well beat the Manchester United club badge:

Word of advice to the Leeds marketing department. When you consult 10,000 people for their opinion on something about your club, next time ask people that support Leeds United rather than other teams.

:hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

I can't imagine AFCB would do anything as crass and stupid as that.

Oh hang on........................................

Lets keep the old badge shall we?

Awful new Leeds badge. As for ours, I just wish that they moved the ear up to where is should be - it's too low down!

Not if you're born in Purbeck.

Leeds are pretty damn excited about their new badge.

I can imagine away fans using a similar gesture, but to the forehead rather than the chest.

...I happen to think that ours isn't too great either...not as bad as this latest effort from Lids...but still a tad embarrassing nonetheless

Newcastle like it so much they're planning to bring out their own version.

Not mine, made me laugh though.

Not exactly classics ;)

OK, I missed these the first time as I didn't recognize any of these.
I guess this is a very low-level, Eastern Canadian soccer league?
You're right - they're not classics!

Our badge, although not what I would have designed, is the one in place as we hit the PL, so perhaps lucky, and is meant to be D.Dowsett who scored the first goal I ever saw at DC. If the young fans like it, leave it as it is or let them design a new one sometime! So i'm with SDD on this for now. But Leeds - what a Ripper!

Druss_the_Legend - 24/1/2018 15:12

Being a new comer to the team, what would you like in the badge? Their pier? The beach? That would all look tacky. Bournemouth is not an old town, we dont have history to call on.

I think it still looks modern with the gold edging. Better than many.
Hey Druss, not sure if you saw what I posted right after.
I actually prefer the older Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic badge with the (cherry?) tree, lions, fish, birds. I don't think it's tacky at all, and with a more professional re-do (maybe with some black added?) would look pretty good.

That's actually the crest of the town of Bournemouth, it appeared on very old shirts and made a reappearance on this little centenary number, which looked too much like them up the road so hardly anyone bought it

I could live with the Halifax one although I like the other mock up i saw better (the Halifax Highlander one)

You gunna follow a Canadian Premier League team canadiancherry?

Ken, old stick....you have got me gloriously going off topic....

Oh thought those were mock up's for the CPL I'm an idiot.

Guess we took our towns' names from somewhere?
