It's very sad especially for the children and their families.
All we can do is post here to show we care. Life is very fragile, one moment the kids were playing happily then next there is tragedy.
 
That’s an odd set of events. How tragic. I guess it will come out in the future and don’t want to luxuriate in the detail but very strange.
 
Friend of mine, volunteer coastguard, was one of first on scene after kids started being pulled from sea. Witnessed a policeman and lifeguard giving cpr to 2 kids, one of which was successful, and then the 12 yr old being pulled from the water
The Dad of the 12 year old sadly watched it all and was with her as they (unsuccessfully) attempted cpr. He will no doubt live with that for rest of his life.
You take your kids to the beach for a fun day out........
