Glad to hear it, one of our best players on his day and easily one of the most entertaining with his ability to run at defenders.

Why did anybody think he was leaving? He did his utmost to leave his old club to join Eddie and our club where he was looked after when his family had personal problems.

He had bad luck last season along with Tyrone Mings and Callum Wilson with serious injuries.

Max came back after injury as if he had never been away, then the result of his time out gradually caught up with him.

Now hopefully those three players will have a much better season.

josh King was saying what everyone else was thinking - that gradel should've gone for an aerial cross instead of hitting it low straight into all the defenders
 
Fair point from King, but we could really do without infighting. Dissapointment is one thing but deal with it properly in the dressing room.
 
I wouldn't blame King.

He pointed out what everyone could see and in a normal footballer fashion. Gradel absolutely flipped his lid as we know he has in him. Looked like all heat of the moment stuff.
