One of, if not the best player I have seen "live" as opposed to on TV. Definitely the best at the old Dean Court.
 
I was at that Steau Bucharest game. Hagi was the Messi of the day.

Dobre has played 3 times for Romania u17's and we have been monitoring for some time. From what I can make out he's a defender.

Everywhere else he is described as a winger so may well have moved position or can play both.

I've not seen him play but the reports I've read suggest he is very promising. Getting experience of competive English football will be useful for his development but as we've seen, it's a long long road for any of our development squad players into the first team squad.
 
Just think ,we would be lauded as the new Crewe Alexandra if we were still in League One with all the players that have broken into pro football from our development squad.
 
I've seen him play a few times for the U21's. Usually plays left wing. Moves inside a lot and not afraid to let fly. Reminds me of a young Cristiana Ronaldo. Let's hope he develops into one!
 
Sounds like he scored a superb goal tonight for Rochdale...think that's his first game for them too!
