However, sources close to the Daily Echo tonight described suggestions Cherries were planning to stump up £57m for the two players as “ridiculous”.

Shouldn't that be sources close to AFC Bournemouth, or are they asking the opinion of junior reporters now ;-)

I think he works for the Sun...but if you look back at a lot of his tweets, I'd say 90% of the stuff he says turns out to be true

By the way Perret didn't say we weren't looking to sign Lerma or Laxalt, just that the £57 million double swoop is "wide of the mark"; both transfers might still be on. Plus there's Rico and Watkins still hovering about as well.

It does appear the two players mentioned above are very real...but the fees quoted would be far higher than the reality. Maybe the end of the week will see the next one in....I forget who we are playing on Friday....maybe that's the day though?? ;-)
